Performance assessment During the laboratory course the teams carry out five experiments from different fields of chemical engineering. Each experiment consists of the following steps:
  • An introductory discussion with the tutor after studying the recommended documents
  • Running of the planned experiments and evaluation of the results
  • Presentation of the experimental results with a critical discussion in a written report. The report should be handled two weeks after finishing the experiments. Reports of minor quality has to be revised by the students.
  • Final discussion of the experimental performance and the report with the tutor.

The quality of the single experiment is assessed by the individual tutor. For the final performance assessment all the five experiments have to be graded as „passed“
